FilmyShala x GolperShala – Screening of Dhaka Dream

On Friday, 23 May 2025, SHALA_Neighbourhood Art Space hosted another edition of FilmyShala x GolperShala, our regular film screening and discussion series. As part of our ongoing theme, Understanding Urban Reality, we screened the feature film Dhaka Dream (2021) by director Proshoon Rahmaan. The screening was followed by an open discussion with the director himself, where participants engaged in thoughtful conversation around the film’s themes of hope, survival, and life in the city. The event brought together neighbours, film enthusiasts, and urban storytellers into a shared space of reflection and dialogue. We are thankful to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the evening engaging and meaningful.
